‘Their Past Your Future is a three-year programme supported by the Big Lottery Fund, which focus on increasing community learning and young people’s knowledge and understanding of the impact, diversity and contemporary significance of conflict.

What is TPYF?
 
Their Past Your Future is an innovative learning programme that uses historical sources, sites, museums, veterans and eyewitnesses of war to increase young people's understanding and appreciation of history, remembrance and commemoration, national identity and civic participation today.
Their Past Your Future is a UK-wide education project led by a partnership of the Imperial War Museum, Museums, Libraries and Archives England, National Library of Wales, Northern Ireland Museum Council and Scottish Museums Council, supported by the Big Lottery Fund.
How can I get involved?
 
Get involved now! Follow the progress of Boswells School in Chelmsford as they travel to Japan in August 08 as prizewinners in our Commemorative Visits Competition:

* Follow the progress of the trip by reading the reporters blogs. They will be away from 2nd - 10th April so make sure you check out the station for updates on what they are up to.
