Hi George. Can't wait to see you. I realise you must be feeling quite sad that the whole thing has passed so quickly but what memories and stories to tell you will have.
I have been switching on my laptop excitedly everyday to see what you have all been up to.
I was watching the opening ceremony of the Olympic games in Bejing this afternoon and the Japanese participants were on and I kind of felt differently about them knowing that you are in Japan (if that makes sense). The videos etc have been so brilliant.. shame you got cut off in the last one though. Would have been nice to have seen you a bit more in the photo's etc but hey ho you are there quitely in the background. I already have the photo of you dressed in the Kimono at the 12 course meal downloaded as my screensaver lol!
Anyway honey.. I hope you enjoy the last hours of your wonderful time in Japan and I hope you ALL have a safe journey home.
Really looking forward to seeing you (Dad has been doing the large cupboard in your room. Looks a mess at the mo but should all be ready on your return).

Lovely to hear from you my lovely, it is just so amazing looking at it all and thinking you are there!! Lantern ceremony looks totally amazingl, must have been one hell of an experience. Food looks wonderful too (well, some of it!) So glad you are having a wonderful time. Love to Matt too!

Gr8 to hear from you. I've been blown away by what I have been reading and looking at from you all. Dan Hogwood is a natural reporter lol! Reckon we'll be seeing him on the 10 oclock news in a few years ;)
Everything you are doing is just fantastic and even though I can understand how the heat must be hard to deal with, I am sure you are making the most of every moment.
We all miss you here but are looking forward to hearing all about it properly and seeing your photo's (hope your taking loads). More shopping eh! right up your street. Wish I was there to assist lol! what colour Kimono did you go for.
Give our love to Matt and tell him we seem to have LOADS of squash left and were half way through the week lol!

Hi George and everyone. Enjoying looking at the photo's and thought the video from the peace museum was excellent. Japan looks a very beautiful country. Hope you enjoyed your trip on the bullet train. Thought you all looked great in the Kimonos before your 12 course meal. Be thinking of you when you go to the Hiroshima memorial service. It will be a powerful experience for you all.
