Hi, the name's Kitty Cat - no that is not my real name its just a nickname - I'm in year eleven and trust me it's not all it's cracked up to be being in your last year of compulsory education. You've got your teachers telling you exams aren't far away, you've got you're friends asking you what you're wearing to the prom, or whether you've found your prom dress or even how you're getting there. Worst of all is the boys, I miss the days when they were only a problem when they tried to get you to play kissy catch. That rant aside there are a few perks to being in the last year of school, one was the winter programme our school completed before Christmas, it was a real taster into sixth form life. Another is the fact that you get the longest summer holidays ever at the end of the year. In our school we also have our own common room which is a blessing especially at this time of year. Ok so it's not all bad this year but you'll have had better I can garuntee that.
