Doctor Who and his glamorous assistant travel back in time at BVS.

The BVS cast and choir are currently getting ready for their last performance of our End of Year Production, Jack and the Beanstalk.

On Monday Morgan had a major accident. Thankfully he survived to tell the tale. Coral Coutts & Wahab Amartey interview the survivor, Morgan Onley.

Having listened to a tale from the Orkney Isles Year 5 pupils have been inspired to write their own stories about the Sea Woman. They have then recorded them for BearWaves.

Year 4 interviewed Neil from Cornelius & Jones Productions about The Odyssey

Miss Thomas’ Year 5 Literacy Group have been dramatising the tale of Little Red Riding Hood.

On Friday, Neil & Sue from Cornelius & Jones Productions came into BVS to perform Sir Gawain & the Loathly Lady to the whole school. Later Sue worked with Year 3 showing them how to make puppets.
Nicole Henley & Dylan Verity-Winn from Year 3 took the opportunity to interview them.

Dylan has written a poem about the legendary Grendal. Beware!

Emily has written a poem about the trauma suffered by the victim of bullying.

I wrote this poem on a very dim and dark day when it was cold and raining. When I opened the door and listened it was completely silent. I was inspired to write a poem. Some lines in the poem refer to the day itself.
