It's that time of year again. If you want to enter into the spirit of things, you can. Save the price of Christmas cards by sending your greetings via the Christmas Channel (AKA Activity Week channel) and make a donation to the Loaves and Fishes instead. Donations via Mr Shepheard please.

This week is anti-bullying week and the theme this year is "being different, belonging together".
We have activities planned around the school to mark the week and lots of coverage here on CLASS, so keep coming back to take a look. More as the week goes on.

Being different, belonging together.

Well, we asked you and this is what you said...
An overwhelming 74% of the more than 50 votes were for a regular change in the logo. That means plenty of logo ideas please, submissions to Mr Shepheard or Mr Connolly. Even if you're not a graphic artist, we know a few, so let us have your ideas and we can help you work them up.
Thanks to all who voted.

What do you think of the new logo?
Does this stink?

There's an old saying in my part of the world:
"You can't make a cheese without a stink".
Today, we see the first of a series of columns written by Surrealist, one of our Year11 pupils on art topics. You can find it in the Creative and Media channel and featured on the CLASS home page.
Is Nudity Art?
You might agree with what he has to say. You might disagree strongly. There might be a stink about it. You comments are welcome.

Wow what a start to Creative and Media
Did you enjoy Yapparama? What about the BBC Outreach Bus? How does it relate to the diploma? Well we are exploring the creative media world! Next up BBC Blast, a chance of a film visit as pat of National School Film Week, the trip to Liverpool the European City of Culture, London and then New York. You lucky, lucky people make the most of these opportunities!

Start with the end, then go to the beginning
Today we uploaded a couple of videos of the y11 class of 2008 on the day they collected their results. The end of their time at Ambrose, just check out thoses smiles. This on the first day of school for our new y7 or class of 2014! It will soon come round for them. Check back soon for the video of their first day at Ambrose.

Welcome back to the start of the new school year at St Ambrose.
It can be so exciting coming back to school after the long holidays and seeing all our friends again. There will be some who have been away to exciting places and some that have done relaxing things at home. Either way, it's a great time to swap stories.
There's a whole lot lined up for you this term on CLASS. We have the results of the logo competition, a new School Council Channel and don't forget Broadcasting Club will be starting in a couple of weeks' time - look out for details.

Half way through activity week and more than 180 reporters signed up to CLASS.
Now you're all on here, I'm looking forward to some busy times helping you get your stories ready to Go Live.
First set of Y7 stories produced this morning with more to come this afternoon. Some of the Y9 work with Nightmare on Shaftesbury Road gives a great taste of what's to come at the end of the week. Enjoying the buzz around the place.
