The beautiful purple pygmy seahorse is only a bit longer than a grain of rice!
You might think this creature is easy to spot,(being purple) but it actually is very well camoflaged against the purple sea fan coral it lives on. This species was only accidently found when a pair were spotted on a sea fan coral in an aquarium!!! These beautiful creatures arefound off the coasts of Borneo,Papua new Guniea and Queensand Australia. If we don't save them soon theses beautiful creatures will be lost FOREVER so save the Purple Pygmy Seahorse......................
