  • Ethnic segregation
  • We wanted to find out whether racial segregation is a real issue in modern day schools. After interviewing a number of students we discovered that perhaps, although not racially motivated, segregation is just a normal part of growing up.

That was very informative and interesting. If your report was a food, I would eat it all.... that is my attempt at an intelligent statement xxx

Well, in my view, and my experience of Rushcliffe School, I have to say most people are understanding of other views, beliefs and religions. However, there are few judgemental people who can name you a culture you would ever have thought you belonged to, eg. I was called 'Pakistani' quite a lot, merely for the fact I was brown. And I have to admit, that was a 1st. There is of no Pakistani origin in my blood. People are quite quick to catagorise others in catagories they think only exists. No one had seemed to have heard of Brunei, Latin America, Burma, the Middle East, Phillipines etc. Sometimes I wished people had been much more educated about other countries, instead of a few here and there.
