On Saturday, 12 January 2008, I attended an event called BETT 2008 which was an exhibition in Olympia in London all about technology and education. Lots of famous companies attended such as the BBC, PC World, Dell, Microsoft, Promethean, Apple, Radiowaves and many other companies too. I was there to explore the stalls and also interview people for the Radiowaves Voice It project which I'm part of. As there it was a Saturday and not many people attended, I only got to interview 10 people. But out of those 10 people, 1 person was very famous. She's a famous BBC news reader. Her name is Sophie Raworth. She's my favourite news reader and I was extremely privileged to meet and interview her. She's also given lots of encouragement on my way to becoming a journalist. She firstly did a presentation about the BBC Schools Report.
Then, I interviewed her and asked lots of questions. I asked her questions such as:
If you had one thing to change in the whole world what would it be?
What would you do to make young people good citizens of this country?
I had lots of fun at the event. The best thing of all was of course the interview with Sophie Raworth.
