review -holden style

If you really want to hear about it the first thing you'll probably want to know is what I thought of the goddam book:to tell you the truth it killed me. Boy,it didn't even make goddam sense at first but I so got into it as hell. I know it sounds phoney and anall but I got a buzz out of the whole thing.
I would go into details about it but you really have to be in the right mood for that stuff. Anyway it's about this moron Holden Caulfield who's the son of a swell lawyer, I have to call him swell as lawyer's are so full of themselves.
So old Holden gets the ax out of another prep-school and after getting knocked out by his roomate flees to New York where he horses around rather than going home to face his swanky parents.
As the story unfolds over a weekend something is revealed. I don't even like to talk about it: old Holden seems to be phsycollogically disturbed by it. God I wish you could understand, he kills me old Holden he really does.
To tell you the truth it's depressing as hell, the book.
Anyway even though times have changed in fifty years anall and wearing a cap backwards is not a gesture of arragonce but rather a phoney fashion statment you really get a kick out of 'The catcher in the rye'
