The children at Citizenship Club have been learning about the environment in a very hands-on way!
Rushcliffe School's Citizenship Club have been given some equipment to them to help them learn about the environment.
The pupils have now embarked on a number of projects, including growing their own gardens in greenhouses, using recycled paper to make new paper, growing venus fly traps and looking after a whole range of insects.
They are learning about responsibility and the world around them using very practical techniques, making it an enjoyable experience for those involved. Perhaps we need to see more of this style of learning in our classrooms?
