The London 2012 olympic games will be more than a memorable 60 days sport and culture. It will change the landscape of East London forever.
Below are the major months:
November 2007: A first submission will be made with details of the groundworks. The construction of these works is due to start by summer 2008.
January 2008: Planning submission for Aquatics Centre Construction due to start on Greenway.
Spring 2008: A second submission will be made in which will outline details of what the Olympic Stadium will look like during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Summer 2008: Work starts on Olympic Stadium, groundworks Aquatics Centre construction due to start.
