Just a brief rant...
I dnt kno if anybodi else has notced bt speling and grmmar on this websyt is awful! I mean, if you are going to write an article, especially about a serious issue, the least that you could do is to check it first. I am currently typing this on word, afterwards I will copy and paste onto the website; this way I can check if I have made any mistakes using the handy spell check tool. For example, the first line of this article is mostly underlined with a harsh red line indicating that spellings are incorrect. Simple enough. Well, apparently not.
I have read some articles with appalling spelling mistakes in them that have obviously been typed straight into the text box on the website without being read through once. By no means is my own spelling and grammar perfect but I do, at least, make an effort. I feel that this issue is embarrassing to our generation. We are viewed as unable to write correctly due to the amount of texting and instant messaging we do using short hand language. This is fine if we keep it where it belongs: on the texts and instant messages we send. Otherwise using this written language is inexcusable and makes us look like the uneducated morons that we are seen as.
So, please, do make sure that speculation is not proved correct and attempt to use proper English when writing articles. I may sound like a snob for ranting about spelling and grammar like your parents and teachers but it is something I feel is important and I, personally, am trying to better my own.
