Pupils and teachers at Rushcliffe School raised money for charity by dressing up as book characters!
Not only was there a book fair at Rushcliffe School to celebrate World Book Day, but children from years 7 and 8, as well as teachers, came to school looking like their favourite book characters to raise money for charity!
There was a range of characters, from Robin Hood to Aslan the Lion, as well as Hermione Granger, Wally ('Where's Wally') and Gandalf.
At lunch time everyone gathered in the school's Learning Resource Centre and paraded around in their costumes, while the judges decided which outfits deserved prizes.
It was a very enjoyable day that got everyone talking about books and raised a considerable sum of money for charity.
