Buses are now turning green! There colour is turning green and so is their engine!
They are eco-friendly buses. They are running on an electric motor instead of diesel. They are much more friendly to the environment.
I saw an eco-friendly bus this week - I read all the advertisements on the outside of the bus which was all about the new environmentally friendly London buses!
There have also been articles on the BBC website and London Transport website about the new buses along with some articles in the newspapers.

-Greenhouse gas CO2 cut by 38%
-Polluting exhaust particles cut by 90%
-Poisonous nitrogen oxides cut by 89%
-New battery system uses 40% less fuel
-Noise levels cut by a third
I think this is a great one in a million ways that will help tackle climate change and make our home a better, safer and longer place to stay in!
