Jim Fitzpatrick, a Member of Parliament and the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department for Transport, agreed to an interview at the Houses of Parliament. Bex asked him about his role in parliament, politics and voting.

MP Jim Fitzpatrick is a Labour politician who represents Poplar and Canning Town, London, in parliament. He was born in Glasgow and was a fireman before becoming a politician. Mr Fitzpatrick has been a Member of Parliament since 1997 and even set up his own political party at the age of 16!
