Highlighting a week that focuses on identity and diversity, we want to know what you see when you look at yourselves…and send in your pictures!
Britain. British. What do these words mean to you? Do they still mean anything? Would you rather call yourself English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish, or none of the above?
23rd-28th June 2008 is Who Do We Think We Are Week. It’s a time to reflect on our identity, what we think of ourselves and of others.
Part of the WDWTWA project is a self-portrait containing people holding up a card with a word that defines them. If you could do this, what would your word be? Why not give it a go! Text your pictures to reportermole@rwaves.co.uk and they’ll appear on our blog.
What would you say your identity is? And what about those around you? Do you live in a diverse area? What are your thoughts on this?
Leave a comment, think of a story about your views on identity and get sending those pictures in!
