Come and explore Brick lane, London
During our Enterprise Week 2008 the 'Who Do We Think We Are?' group went to explore London and it's many different communities. The aim of the week was to be able to ask questions about who we are and how we fit into the modern world. It is important to understand our relationships with the communities we live in and engage with.
We visited different locations in london including, Trafalgar Square, Brick Lane, China Town, Brixton, West Wickham and we also went to see a play in Hayes School on African Stories.
The week was spent exploring these areas by looking at the buildings, shops, restaurants, art, clothes, food (we tried some traditional foods from restaurants) and we talked to some of the local residents.
