Today was our official first day in Japan. Having woken up fresh(ish) after our flight it was off to brave the 38 degree heat for a tour of Kyoto. Kyoto is one of the oldest cities in Japan's and home to many of its most famous shrines. Watch our video tour of Ryoanji Temple and The Golden Pavillion.

Fantastic reports from Japan - what a school trip!
I am a primary school teacher in Liverpool and will be taking a group of children to China in October. I will definately be showing them your reports from Japan before we go, as I know we can learn a lot from your great reporting!
