We attended the amazing Lantern Ceremony in Hiroshima

Tonight we attended the Lantern Ceremony in Hiroshima. Thousands of people attended the ceremony on the rivers in Hiroshima to light a candle in honour of a spirit.

It was really beautiful and definately the highlight of our trip so far.

Boswells will seem pretty boring after such a fantastic experience for you all, but shall look forward to looking at all you pictures etc when you return. It's been amazing be able to share your experieces with you. I, like many others have found some of the reports very moving. Enjoy the rest of your trip and take care, see you all soon.

Such a beautiful ceremony - and to think that every light represents someone's parent, someone's sibling, someone's child... I guess there would have been entire families that were killed. Really brings it all home.

Was that Barnett & Davis or perhaps it was Motson and Pearce? A career in sports journalism must be on the cards - to use words from your clip; sureal!!
I've just returned from two weeks in Cornwall (probably took as long as your flight, but without the jet-lag) and thought I'd check on your progress. Looks amazing - enjoy, learn and keep up the good work.
