School Council interview Olympian Derek Redmond
Olympic athlete Derek Redmond visited Shenley Brook End School to speak to years 7 and 11 about how to motivate themselves to succeed. This is something he is a bit of an authority on, as Redmond crossed the finish line of the 400m semi-final in the 1992 Olympics with a torn hamstring! He told the School Council all about his career in sport and motivational speaking, his life and his inspiration.
