A review of J.R.R Tolken's

You have probably heard of Lord of The Rings, the famous books and movies but there is a prequel to those books, The Hobbit. While the LoTR books are aimed at older children (I would say about 16 and up) The Hobbit is aimed just a bit younger (About 13 and up) this makes it a lot easier to read, understand and enjoy.

It is set in a place filed with unique creatures like Goblins, Wargs, Dwarves, Wizards, Elves and many, many more. All the characters have their own vivid personalities so it fun to imagine what the characters would look like and speak like. Because the writer creates such unusual settings, you can create a vivid image in your head like what the setting feels and how it looks. J.R.R Tolkien's style of writing really aids you in creating that image and immersing yourself in the book. I cannot stress enough how fantastic this book is to read, understand, but most importantly, to enjoy. The book has a very interesting storyline that sees one wizard, thirteen Dwarves and one misfit Hobbit embarking on a daring quest. I won't spoil the story for you but I can tell you that some of the adventures they get into are very entertaining.

I can't think of anything bad about The Hobbit, nothing at all. It is the kind of book you can read over and over yet would never get bored of it. You MUST read this book!

I would give this book:

10/10
