There will be barrel loads of games being piled out for the Christmas rush,so how do you know which ones to get? HAVE NO FEAR,GAMEGURU IS HERE! These are my most anticipated games for each system.

DS

1. Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Release Date: 7/11/08

This is now one of my favourite games...ever. It is an adventure/puzzler game with over 130 puzzles. It's puzzles are challenging just enough so you get that rush of pride when you figure it it out but you don't find yourself ripping your hair out in frustrating. It's Fandabbydosey.

2. Trackmania DS

Release Date: 14/11/08

Trackmania is a little know racing game that you will love, no questions asked. The controls are spot-on and it feels jut right when you are driving. Their is an amazing track editor that allows you to make all kinds of crazy tracks. Not like racing games? You will after this.

3. Prince Of Persia: The Fallen King

Release Date: 5/12.08

Price of Persia is the king of adventure/platforming. He can run up, along and even jump between walls, he can swing a sword and leap large chasms. The unique feature about this game is that everything is controlled with the touch screen. This works and is very fun to use.

Wii

1. Animal Crossing: Lets Go To The City

Release Date: 5/12/08

If you haven't played an animal crossing game yet, you are missing out on something big. The game puts you if the shoes of a human in a world inhabited by animals. You have to make money, get a bigger house, collect furniture, the world is your oyster. The big thing about this game is that you can go into the city to explore and shop. Looks great!

2. Wii Music

Release Date: 14/11/08

Wii music is the ultimate party game. In it, you play an instrument to music, that's it, it's great. You can play slower, skip a beat, or throw in 10 more. No matter what you do, Wii Music automatically transforms your movements into great music. The drum kit uses the balance board as the bass and Hi-Hat pedal. There are no mistakes in this game— you are just playing for the pure joy of playing.

3. Sonic Unleashed

Release Date: 14/11/08

Sonic is a gaming legend. His games are so different and fun to play yet so simple and addictive. It looks like it will be no different with this outing. The game does have a few twists though like letting you play as a Werehog (An evil Sonic) and glorious visuals. This keeps the gameplay fresh but fun.

PS3

1. Little Big Planet

Release Date: 5/11/08

In Little Big Planet you control a "Sackboy" who you have to guide through various levels. Sounds unoriginal but it truly isn't. The level designs are great, the Graphical style is pretty and the game is a whole load of fun. It has a fantastic level creator which is dynamic enough to make some smart levels. Some would say it is a sackful of fun (Excuse the pun).

2. James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace

Release Date: Out Now

Movie tie ins usually aren't that good, but this is an exception. Quantum of Solace takes place over both the Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace movies. It has all the best parts from both movies, like the crane run from Casino Royale. The enemy in this game are smart and act tactically according to your moves, this adds a new layer of depth to the game and means you can't run in all guns blazing. This is looking impressive. This game has just come out so I am still counting it as a Christmas release.

3. Shawn White Snowboarding

Release Date: 11/14/08

Snowboarding, I've never really know why anyone who'd want to hang precariously of a bit of metal going up a mountain and then launch themselves of it. Now I do, it's fun. The game sees you as a snowboarder, well, snowboarding down a mountain, and it's great. The controls work really well so it's easy to pull of tricks but challenges you for combos. If you like skateboarding games, you will love this.

Xbox 360

1. Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts

Release Date: 14/11/08

You need to get this game. Simple as that.Throughout their adventure, players create their own abilities by building vehicles for Banjo to pilot over land, water and air. Vehicle parts, which range from simple devices such as engines and wheels to more unusual equipment such as springs and egg guns, are earned and collected throughout the game. Players use their imagination to combine parts in any order to create whatever vehicle they choose. The character are hilarious and the graphics gorgeous. Simply extraordinary.

2. Mirrors Edge

Release Date: 14/11/08

Mirrors Edge is a free-running game. You have to get from A to B without getting shot or falling taking whatever route you want. The game flows well and it is very impressive. The first-person view gives you what the character would really see. You will find yourself getting sucked into the game as you play it. Mirrors Edge is looking great and I would recommend you give it a go.

3. Tom Clancy's EndWar

Release Date: 7/11/08

True to the Tom Clancy’s video games’ tradition of innovation and excellence, Tom Clancy’s EndWar is an all-new breed of strategy game. It is controlled entirely with the headset bundled with the Xbox 360. This is a lot easier than using fiddly buttons to move squads and it feels awesome as well. This is looking to revolutionise the strategy genre.

I hope this has helped with Christmas!

!REMEMBER!
Please ask your parents about the age ratings of the games. Thank You.
