Last weekend was the weekend of the Swimathon, a charity fund raising event for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Carol, 47 and a mother of 2, swam 100 lengths on saturday with a large crowd cheering her on at Kettering Swimming Pool.
Over 1/2 million people came out to swim all over the country over the weekend, raising a total of more than 40 million pounds.
I spoke to Carol after the event and learnt about how she wants to lose weight, learn a new type of stroke and do further next year.
I also caught up with Carols 15 year old daughter Katie, who is very proud.
Carol raised £104 pounds and swam 100 lengths in 1 hour 15 minutes.
