• What can we do about climate change?

Young people can make a difference
    8th June 2009
  • The Big Climate Change Question
  • 19 million people in the UK are under 24. Think what we could do to tackle climate change if we all worked together. We can make an impact through our individual actions but also by influencing our local communities, governments and international decision makers who are meeting in December at the Climate Change conference in Copenhagen.

How do you think we should be tackling climate change?

To tackle climate change there needs to be more promotion on awareness on the effects and how it is causes such as through Envision projects. Through spreading advice along family and friends more people can be involved in helping to tackle the current climate change problems and help to decrease it. Each person should do their bit .E.G. recycling.

Climate Change Can Be Tackled By The Community Working Together On A Certain Goals. As There's No Need In Coming Up With a Way Of Tackling Climate Change If Some People Are Not Even Willing To Follow It Up. Therefore iBelieve That The First Step To Tackling Climate Change Is To Convince The Public That Climate Change Is Affecting Us All And We All Need To Reunite In Order To Tackle It!!

I think we should use more adverts that are particularly aimed towards young people today. They should do more to find new renewable sources and make energy efficient products more attractive for the public to purchase.
I think it would be a good idea if we were to tax companies that are using more unnecessary energy than most of the population. This could help the less economically developed countries as they are the main people who it is effected.
