On Thursday 12th of June 2009 ten year 5/6 girls represented Springwell in a football Tournament which was held at Springwell. There were five teams and each team had to play four gamesb with each game lasting for 10 minutes. Springwell won all of their four matches and scored 7 goals altogether, the goal scorers were Nikita, Salwa (me), Abriza and Mesha.
It was a great afternoon as we had some teachers and parents cheering and supporting us. In the end, the points were counted and the overall winners were Springwell!!!
We were really overjoyed because it was the first time Springwell had won a girls football tournament.
