  • Year 8 students from Bilton School have just returned from a fantastic adventure filled trip to
    the Ardeche region of France.
Forty-Two students and six members of staff were challenged to push themselves to the limit,
taking part in activities such as caving, climbing and river trekking.

The highlight of the trip was canoeing down the Ardeche itself, the descent takes place over two
days with students working in pairs to navigate their way through the rapids. The team bonding continued with staff and students spending a night under the stars.

The students were amazing in every way, they threw themselves into all of the activities even
though some of them were challenging. Students overcame their anxieties and came through as stronger people.
The group were so good that the instructors were soon changing groups so that they could work with Bilton!
