Today, the 24th of July marked the 3 year countdown to 2012.
We treked up Helvellyn mountain in Cumbria with the Centre Point Charity for homeless young people and assisted by The Mountain Rescue team.

Meanwhile our colleagues were at a Conference in Liverpool to mark the 3 year countdown to 2012, we conducted a live link up with Prince William straight back to the conference. Other S2R reporters interviewed HRH Prince William about his thoughts on the Olympics.
To sum it up in one word Today has been... 'amazing'! Just having the opportunity to climb Helvellyn and meet a prince is unbelievable. He was really down to earth and easy to speak to. The climb took all the energy out of me but it was worth it every minute from the great views to the laughs on the way.
