This is my section of the student film a group of students including myself worked on last year for our Higher Media exam piece. This film was worth 50% of our overall grade. The whole film surrounded a girl called Emily who suffers with a speech impediment. Emily loves music and performing it, however lacks the confidence to do so due to her set backs. This film surrounds her journey to finding herself and gaining the confidence to accept her flaws.
This is simply an update surrounding myself and a reflection of the time between Primary School to the current point in my life.
This is a reflective piece surrounding my upbringing within a Military environment and how a solitary event could have changed the course of my life. I wrote this piece for my Higher English Coursework last year (which I thankfully passed and never have to return to). However, I came across this old file on my computer and wished to share this on Makewaves. I hope you can take something from this piece and enjoy reading it.
I was inspired to write this poem after viewing a rather crude video on youtube by a content creator named Nash Grier. I did not agree with the vast majority of what he said, in fact it made me rather angry. So instead of leaving a lengthy comment on his video, I turned the anger into something positive.
This is a persuasive essay I submitted as a folio piece for my National 5 English Qualification.
Scotland Day
Wednesday 25th is 'Scottish Day'. Children from every class will recite a poem, sing, dance or show off their art work. Children from P6 and P7 will recite a Robbie Burns poem and some P7s will play 'The Skye Boat Song' on their recorders.
Update........every class did something different and it was a great Assembly! Well done everyone!!
The Year of the Dragon
February 2nd is 'Chinese Day' in school. February 3rd is our 'Chinese Assembly'. The Chinese New Year actually starts on 23rd February. 2012 is 'The Year of the Dragon'.
Primary 4 told us the story of the animals and how the rat managed to win the race. P5 told us about the lanterns they made. P5/6 acted out the story or 'Nian' and p6/7 told us about the wishing tree. Finally P7 gave each year their horoscopes.
pinocchio
This year's panto was Pinocchio!
