Film Review – Avatar

This film was beautifully put together with perfect sounds effects, awesome visual effects and a spectacular story. I’ll try not to give any spoilers in case you haven’t yet seen it but no promises.

This film is at the height of our newest technology giving you the best experience, watching this in the cinema(in 3D or not) or at home with HD and surround sound will totally blow you away, but it can also be bought on a normal DVD for those that don’t have HD Tele’s. The film is around 2 hours and 30 minutes, some say this is too long, but my eyes never left the screen when I saw it for the first time, in fact the first experience was so good I watched it again once for the next four days after that.

If you are one of those people that get involved in the film then you will find this gives you lots of different emotions like sadness, forgiveness, laughter and more. The special effects are nothing less than superb you forget the whole world is mostly artificial including the Na’vi, the unique software has a special face capture that captures the expressions of the actors face and then experts can carefully edit that to appear on their faces making them look realistic.

The Ikran’s, Thanator’s, Direhorse’s, Toruk, Hammerhead Titanothere, Viperwolves, Na’vi and much more, are what makes Avatar a awsome fantasy film. This film has something for everyone; Romance, Action, Thriller and Comedy all in one. If you haven’t seen this film then I defiantly recommend it, let it blow you away for two and a half hours.

My rating is: 10 out of 10
