Ranville Cemetery

On Thursday 20th May we visited Ranville Cemetery and held our own wreath laying ceremony.

We visited the grave of Den Brotheridge, the first soldier killed on D-Day. We then went to the main cemetery where we found the grave of the youngest soldier killed in the war. Before we left we held our own remembrance ceremony and held a minutes silence. It was a very emotional day for all involved.
