The Boxing day darby was ment to be a thriller and dunfermline done everything possible for the match to go ahead. But a 3rd of the pitch under the main stand where the sun hardly gets to was half frozen, the match referee called the game off at 10:00am.
This is the First game to be called off due to the weather at East End Park.
I think the spl should have a look at what dunfermline are doing to make the game possible. Most of the work to move the snow was made by pars fans.
Should Dunfermline have some heaters to go on top of the bit of the pitch covered by the main stand?
Should Dunfermline use a cover on the pitch to reduce damage to the pitch?
What do you think they should do?
