We want to know what one law you would make if you were given the chance?

We all have things that we are passionate about, and sometimes we wonder how good it would be to be able to change the law to make things better.

It might be that you would like to ban size zero models from magazines, or stop newspapers from airbrushing their photographs. Perhaps you might want a law where young people in education get free travel. Or you might want to improve school dinners!

What law would you make?

Once you have chosen your law we want you to make a film! Find out here, what you can win https://www.makewav.es/story/332858/title/parliament

GETTING STARTED
Before you get started, there are a few things that you should know about this competition:

> You must be aged 11–16 at the time of submission, and there can be no more than 5 participants per group/film
> Keep it short! Films must be a maximum of 3 minutes
> Stick to original copyright free music - we cannot accept films as entries if they include copyrighted music
> Think about your target audience. Your film should be aimed at your own age group.
> Your film should propose a new law or a change to an existing law in the UK. Beyond this there are no restrictions – you can make a film about what you care about and want to change
> Be Creative – your film can be a drama, documentary, comedy or music video, so long as it communicates the message!

GET PLANNING
Planning is essential to the success of your film, there are key things you need to think about:

> Now you have chosen your law, what is your film going to be about? Who do you want to be in your film? will you be carrying out interviews and will interviewees be willing and available to be filmed?
> Have you created a storyboard so that you can plan out your scenes and script? Download your storyboard above
> Have you planned out your script and learnt your lines – if you want your film to appear seamless, you should make time to remember your lines/interview questions.
> Do you have all the equipment you need to make your film? i.e. video cameras, audio recording equipment. Is all of your equipment in working order and fully charged?
